  • Ripe bananas
  • Egg
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Instant-dry yeast
  • Salt
  • Raisins

Ingredients:
  • 2 Bananas (280g), ripe
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) Butter
  • 2¾ cups (350g) Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Instant-dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1 tablespoon Butter for brushing
Instructions:
  1. In a bowl, mash bananas, add egg, butter and whisk until combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, yeast and salt.
  3. Add the flour mixture into the banana mixture and mix until combined. Add raisins and mix until dough is formed.
  4. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
  5. Divide the dough into 9 pieces, roll each piece into a ball and place a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
  7. Preheat oven to 180C (350F).
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter (optional).
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
