This chocolate bundt cake is moist, light and amazingly delicious! If you a fan of chocolate cakes, you should try this chocolate cake. It’s topped with smooth chocolate ganache for the ultimate chocolate experience!
I’m so excited that I finally have a good recipe for a chocolate bundt cake! I kept trying to use the same base recipe as my vanilla bundt cake and it just wasn’t cutting it. But this one… it’s perfect!
Chocolate Bundt Cake Ingredients:
For the cake:- All-purpose flour
- Cocoa powder
- Sugar
- Baking powder
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Buttermilk
- Eggs
- Oil
- Coffee or water
- Heavy cream
- Dark chocolate
Flour – you can use all-purpose or cake flour. I used all-purpose flour because that’s what I had on hand. However, if you want your bundt cake to be even lighter and fluffier, I would recommend using cake flour.
Sugar – some people like to use brown sugar in their chocolate cakes but I think white sugar is best here.
Cocoa powder – Dutch process cocoa powder will give you the darkest color but natural cocoa powder is okay too. Just make sure you don’t use black cocoa powder (like in these cookies) because that will make your cake taste bitter.
